John Lloyd

John, Certified Lay Minister, was assigned as pastor of Blaine UMC in July 2024. He is married with two children and three grandchildren. Pastor John believes church should be a welcoming place for everyone to learn about having a relationship with Jesus Christ. His messages each week share scriptures, stories and maybe a little bit of humor, as he hopes to draw people closer to Jesus, their Lord and Savior.

Custodian

Gary

Gary has served tirelessly for years as our custodian and we are so thankful to have him in our corner. Not only does he take care of the day-day maintenance and cleaning of the building, he also oversees building use and is always on the lookout for improvements.

Office Administrator

Laura

Laura wears many hats at Blaine UMC. She teaches Sunday School, coordinates special events at the church, gives the Weekly announcements during Sunday worship and also helps gather our weekly joys and concerns for our prayer requests.

Treasurer/SPRC Chair

Dorothy

Dorothy currently serves in many roles at BUMC but her favorite is her role as treasurer. Dorothy keeps track of expenses, budgets our accounts with the finance committee, and helps us invest in new technologies to improve our outreach and communication

Pianist

Deniece

Everyone at BUMC knows that Denice is so much more than a Pianist.While she does provide our music for Sunday mornings, she also oversees VBS, and many of our annual fundraisers. She never runs out of energy and we are so happy to have her on our team!
